神經(jīng)生長因子（NGF）是神經(jīng)營養(yǎng)因子中最早被發(fā)現(xiàn)，目前研究最為透徹，具有神經(jīng)元營養(yǎng)和促突起生長雙重生物學功能一種神經(jīng)細胞生長調(diào)節(jié)因子，它對中樞及周圍神經(jīng)元發(fā)育、分化、生長、再生和功能特性表達均具有重要調(diào)控作用。神經(jīng)生長因子包含α、β、γ三個亞單位，活性區(qū)是β亞單位。β-神經(jīng)生長因子由兩個118個氨基酸組成單鏈通過非共價鍵結合而成二聚體，與人體神經(jīng)生長因子結構具有高度同源性，生物效應也無明顯種間特異性。NGF與受體結合，通過受體介導內(nèi)吞機制產(chǎn)生內(nèi)在化，形成由軸膜包繞、含有NGF、并保持其生物活性小泡，經(jīng)軸突沿微管逆行轉(zhuǎn)運至胞體，經(jīng)酪氨酸蛋白激酶、脂酰肌醇鈣、內(nèi)源性環(huán)腺苷酸等第二信使體系轉(zhuǎn)導，啟動一系列級聯(lián)反應，對靶細胞某些結構或功能蛋白基因表達進行調(diào)控而發(fā)揮其生物效應。

溶解：提供的人β-神經(jīng)生長因子,CHO表達(b NGF CHO)產(chǎn)品為經(jīng)0.2um孔徑過濾滅菌的白色凍干粉末；該凍干粉末是從含人β-神經(jīng)生長因子,CHO表達(b NGF CHO)的30mM 乙酸鈉（pH 5.5），1% HSA溶液中凍干產(chǎn)生的。我們建議加無菌的18MΩ-cm水以配制工作儲存液到不低于100ug/ml，后繼實驗過程中可根據(jù)實驗要求進一步稀釋。
保存：人β-神經(jīng)生長因子,CHO表達(b NGF CHO)凍干粉末在室溫可保存3周，或置于-18℃凍存用于長期保存。重新溶解后可以在4℃冷藏保存至少2-7天以上；如果想延長保存時間，建議分裝后置于-18℃凍存。請避免反復凍融。

Introduction 

NGF-beta has nerve growth stimulating activity and the complex is involved in the regulation of growth and the differentiation of sympathetic and certain sensory neurons. Mutations in this gene have been associated with hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy, type 5 (HSAN5), and dysregulation of this gene's expression is associated with allergic rhinitis.

Description 

Nerve Growth Factor-beta Human Recombinant produced in CHO is a noncovalently disulfide linked homodimer, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 2 identical 118 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 26.5 kDa.
The NGF-b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance 

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Formulation 

The protein was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered solution in 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8 & 0.15M NaCl.

Solubility  （溶解性）

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized NGF-b in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability    （穩(wěn)定性）

Lyophilized Nerve Growth Factor b although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution Nerve Growth Factor-beta should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.
For long-term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
